History

The Ipowergames were created by Packard Bell in 2007 and are aimed to bring gamers from all across Europe a genuine gaming Trophy which is centred around the ideas of sportsmanship and fair-play.

The first season of the Ipowergames started on January 10, 2007 and covered no less than 5 games in 8 different countries. Merged into national teams, players had to fight for the whole team on every five games to score the maximum amount of points. Germany, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, the United-Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Africa and Portugal took part in the major competition and the best of the best players met in Lisbon for an outstanding final organised by Packard Bell.
