The Ipowergames 2008 Charter

The Ipowergames Charter is the codification of Fundamental Principles of Ethics and Rules adopted by the Organizing Committee. It governs the organization, action and operation of the Ipowergames2008 and sets forth the conditions for the celebration of the Electronic Sports.

This Charter serves three main purposes:

1. The Ipowergames Charter is a basic instrument that recalls the Fundamental Principle of the Electronic Sports.
2. The Ipowergames Charter also serves as statutes for the Organizing Committee
3. The Ipowergames Charter defines the main reciprocal rights and obligations of the Participants, Visitors and Organizers of the Ipowergames 2008.

Fundamental Principles of the Ipowergames 2008


The Ipowergames 2008 seek to create a way of life based on the joy of effort, the educational value of good example and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles.

The Ipowergames 2008 expect from all of its participants a mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.

Any form of discrimination with regard to a country or a person on grounds of race, religion, politics, gender or otherwise is incompatible with belonging to the Ipowergames 2008 Trophy.

Ethics


Discrimination leading to unfair treatment of any individual is prohibited. For equity in competition, players may be organized in groups such as age groups or single sex groups.

Practitioners accept to comply with the game rules and regulations, accept the decisions of officials, and refuse the use of unlawful or unfair proceedings.

Practitioners accept to respect the spirit of fair play and non violence and to fulfill their commitment within the limit of their means.

Practitioners accept to aim their practice to pleasure, entertainment and personal accomplishment.
